Cherokee Street is a small business, artistic, and live-work community in South-City Saint Louis. Dozens of unique shops and restaurants populate the strip from Gravois to I-55. Cherokee hosts print shops, a vibrant Latino community (including Latino culture retail shops and the best authentic Mexican food in Saint Louis), some of the best coffee shops, indie retail stores, and even a worker-controlled bakery! It’s also home to about a dozen small and medium-sized art galleries featuring local and national indie artists!
